Rajiv Grover is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon and former President of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS). He specialises exclusively in Facelifting and Facial Surgery. His approach is personal, compassionate, and honest with an emphasis on delivering safe, natural, and artistic results. Educated in London and Harvard, he is a Consultant at The London Clinic and The King Edward VII Hospitals which are renowned for providing medical services to the Royal Family. He performs all surgery within the safety of these Hospitals. Rajiv is a Hunterian Professor at The Royal College of Surgeons and runs a Private Practice based in Harley Street.

INTRODUCTION
Rajiv grew up in Staffordshire where he was educated and took 14 O-Levels and 5 A-Levels from a State Comprehensive School. After achieving the highest A-Level results in Staffordshire and representing the County in athletics he was awarded The Lord Hatherton Memorial Scholarship which covered his medical education at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London where he had always dreamt of studying. St Barts is the oldest hospital and medical school in the UK founded in 1123 and now over 900 years old. It was the medical school where the founder of Plastic Surgery, Sir Harold Gillies himself was educated.
Rajiv graduated in Medicine with Honours from St Bartholomew’s Hospital and a Triple Distinction from London University. He later became a Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) having been awarded the Hallett Prize and Gold Medal for the highest score in the United Kingdom. During his training he was awarded a scholarship from the Royal College of Surgeons in Facial Plastic Surgery to Harvard Medical School in Boston, USA. Rajiv is on the GMC’s Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery (Registration Number 3333666)
Rajiv is recognized for his ability to provide a natural look by combining artistry with his Facelift technique. For his research into Leonardo da Vinci’s depiction of natural beauty and its application to Facelift Surgery he was awarded a Guggenheim Professorship at the Louvre in Paris. Rajiv also collaborated with Alexander McQueen to develop the concept of Facelift Couture which uses a roadmap based on younger photographs of his patients to guide surgery and keep them looking like themselves.
Rajiv will provide you with a friendly and honest opinion regarding your suitability for surgery, putting your safety and wellbeing as the first priority. He was responsible for establishing the UK National Audit of Cosmetic Surgery & Safety at the Royal College of Surgeons.
During his career Rajiv has been awarded several national and international prizes including awards from the American Association of Plastic Surgeons (AAPS Gold medal) and the European Association of Plastic Surgeons (EURAPS Medal twice). For his work on improving safety in the field of Facelifting he was awarded the Hackett Memorial Prize by the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) and also the Mentor Prize for the most significant scientific publication in the field of Facelift Surgery.
